Seduction starts with the right temperature
Anyone passing through the E17 and with a soft spot for chocolate will be in for a treat when passing through Hamlet, a family business founded in 1956. The passion for delicious chocolate can still be found today, also at sister companies Pralinart and A&A Chocolaterie. Within the group, Pralinart focuses on the production and packaging of pralines, mainly for the private label market.
The production of chocolate is a process of heating and cooling to obtain the perfectly shiny delicacy for which Belgium is so renowned. To do this in the most sustainable way possible, Pralinart opted for a CO2 heat pump at the heart of its new building in Lokeren. This not only ensures the ideal temperature in the production and office areas, but also keeps the chocolate at the perfect temperature in each production step.
