Using simulation tools and testing with critical hardware, we can demonstrate that a solution will work even before it is realised. Afterwards, a FAT, or Factory Acceptance Test, is performed with the connected critical hardware. This is a quality assurance for the customer that a revamp will only be realised after the customer has confirmed that the automation works as he wishes.
