VUB

At ATS, a multi-technology group, we are looking for an electrician to join our facility team at VUB.

Function

• As an electrician you are responsible for the electrical side of the university buildings of the VUB in Etterbeek. You will do this together with three other fellow electricians.
• Through the maintenance platform (Ultimo) you will receive the various electrical assignments.
  It mainly involves electrical work on switchgear, sockets, lighting, distribution boards, power cables for events, ... The installation of these, minor adjustments and solving any malfunctions. Security technology and controls are less common.
• The electrical plans can be accessed via a tablet provided to you.
• Every 6-7 weeks you will have a one-week on-call shift. The number of calls is limited. If you do go on site you will de-energize the necessary circuits to ensure safety.

Profile

• You hold a degree in electricity and have at least initial work experience.
• Knowledge of Dutch is a must (due to assignments in Dutch).
• You like to start early and be home early.
• You can work independently as well as in a small team.
• You have an eye for quality, safety and are customer-oriented.
• A C driver's license is a plus, not a must.
