Battery storage increases flexibility

Have you invested in an industrial PV plant and does your company sometimes generate more electricity than it actually needs?
In this case, this power flows back into the grid. A shame, right? With a battery, the generated energy is temporarily stored and you can use it at a later time. This has several advantages:

Efficiency. You use more energy that you have generated yourself instead of sending it back to the grid.
Autonomy. You are less dependent on the electricity grid and the government's energy policy.
Lower peak consumption. This can be partly compensated by a battery, so your grid connection will be less heavy and you will pay less taxes.
Safety. With a battery system, companies also have a back-up function in case of power failures.
