Westelec - Ypres

For our subsidiary Westelec, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Site Manager.

Westelec is an SME (30 employees) specialized in the qualitative elaboration of tertiary and industrial electrical projects: general electrical works, data cabling, security techniques, care call systems, home automation, charging stations, renewable energy (PV installations, batteries) and medium voltage.

Function

As an experienced site manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of electrical installation projects (new construction, expansions, etc.) in offices, WZCs, student dormitories, schools and industrial environments.

• You organize with the project manager the necessary materials and board
• You will leave Westelec around 6:30 a.m. for the regional yard (max 45 min drive)
• You organize and plan the works based on the technical plans
• You manage about 6 of your own employees
• You will also work on site yourself
• You follow up the execution in terms of quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction
• You will be in close contact with an experienced project manager who will support you
• You will have contact with the builder, the architect, the engineering firm, ...

Profile

• You have an electrical degree or are equivalent through experience
• Leadership experience within electrical projects is a must
• You can process data and practically transform it into an objective for his team members (plans, sign diagrams, technical drawings, etc.)
• Experience with medium voltage is a plus, but not a must
• You seek variety in work preparation, organization and hands on work
• You have a sense of responsibility and safety
• You like quality work and a satisfied customer
• You can at least get by in French
