To support the growth of ATS Group, we are recruiting for a Purchasing Engineer HVAC .

Function

Manage purchase orders with the goal of taking the company to the next level through analysis and achievement of the most favorable delivery dates and purchase prices of materials.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Create purchase orders based on sales orders and orders and link them to price lists and discounts.
• Create new orders for our subsidiaries.
• Forward prepared Purchase orders at the end of each working day/working week. Taking into account the urgency of the order and the suppliers' conditions.
• Host existing and new suppliers. Maintain a close working relationship and negotiate prices, payment terms and discounts.
• Proactively monitor inventory management. Timely replenishment of items and resolution of critical stock issues.
• Analysis of new product providers and alternative items.
• Advise and support colleagues and suppliers.
• Follow up on direct deliveries.
  

Profile

• You possess analytical thinking skills with a bachelor's degree preferred.
• You are fluent in the Microsoft Office 365 package (mainly Excel).
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus, but we provide extensive internal training for this.
• You speak and write Dutch and English fluently. In addition, you have a (basic) knowledge of French.
• You are communicative and possess the necessary persuasiveness to convince another in a reasoned manner.
• You work in a structured manner and prioritize when addressing problems.
• You work accurately and have an eye for detail.
• You are driven and willing to learn.
