Westelec NV is active in the electrical engineering sector. With about 35 employees, they realize projects in the industrial, tertiary and public sector.

For our subsidiary Westelec, we are currently looking for a project manager with 5 years of experience.

Function

• As Project Manager, you are responsible for following up clients and projects from quotation phase to completion. You are the first contact person for clients, architects and study firms.
• You translate the customers' wishes and needs into clear plans and instructions for the executive staff.
• You prepare the planning for the works and ensure that the materials are ordered on time. You prepare or adapt the necessary plans and schedules according to the type of project (Autocad 2D).
• On a monthly basis, you prepare the necessary settlements, settlements and requisition statements from your ongoing yards.
• You manage your own calendar with an eye for ongoing business and internal appointments. You actively participate in the weekly planning meeting and communicate clearly about your ongoing sites and offers.
• You will join a collegial and dynamic environment with a diverse client base. The type of projects is in the tertiary market (schools, WZC, care institutions, offices, showrooms, industry,...). The files vary from new construction, extensions to depannages in a wide range of electrical engineering, medium voltage, low voltage, panel building, fire detection, home automation, access control, data cabling and fiber optic cabling.

Tasks

• Prepare quotations, discussions with clients, prepare plans and schedules for executive staff.
• Ordering materials i.f. site planning.
• Follow up projects briefly with the site manager.
• Preparation of billing through requisition statements and settlements.
• Taking care of as built files and delivering the projects.

Profile

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree, in an electrical engineering field.
• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager.
• You have a problem-solving approach.
• You possess the necessary leadership skills.
