Westelec - Ypres

For our subsidiary Westelec, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager.

Westelec is an SME (30 employees) specialized in the qualitative elaboration of tertiary and industrial electrical projects: general electrical works, data cabling, security techniques, care call systems, home automation, charging stations, renewable energy (PV installations, batteries) and medium voltage.

Function

As an experienced Project Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of electrical installation projects (new construction, expansions, etc.) in offices, WZCs, student dormitories, schools and industrial environments.

• You will be the first point of contact for site managers, clients, architects and engineering firms.
• You translate the customers' wishes and needs into clear plans and diagrams (library, autoCAD 2D) and instructions for the executive staff.
• You will prepare the schedule for the works and ensure that materials are ordered in a timely manner.
• On a monthly basis, you prepare the necessary settlements and requisition statements of the ongoing construction sites.
• You will actively participate in the weekly planning meeting and consult on current sites and any bids.
• Finally, you take care of the as built files and deliver the site.

Profile

• Leadership experience within electrical projects is a must
• You have a basic knowledge of AutoCAD 2D
• Knowledge of medium voltage is a plus, but not necessary
• You are strong in planning and organization
• You are a constructive communicator who thinks solution-oriented
• You go for a satisfied customer through quality and close follow-up of appointments
• You can handle autonomy and responsibility
