For our office in Gent we are looking for a driven/experienced Project Engineer.

Function

As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development and implementation of total solutions in mechanical engineering (hydraulics, power transmission, mechanical engineering, material handling,...).
You will work with interdisciplinary teams to deliver customized solutions that meet our customers' expectations.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Project Management: You oversee the schedule of your project to ensure timely delivery within budget and scope.
• Design and Engineering: You will use your technical expertise to conceptualize, design and optimize machines that meet customer requirements and industry standards.
• Documentation: Project documentation is prepared by you, including specifications, drawings, manuals and reports to facilitate seamless project execution and knowledge transfer.
• Quality Assurance: At critical stages of assembly, production colleagues can count on your technical expertise. You perform thorough testing and validation of machines to ensure reliability, safety and compliance with regulatory standards.

Profile

• You have a master's degree in industrial sciences electromechanics or master's degree in engineering mechanical-electrical engineering.
• CAD software such as e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo,... hold no secrets for you.
• You are inquisitive and eager to learn through self-study and specific training.
• You have strong analytical skills, you are problem solver and have an eye for detail.
• You are a team player who can interact smoothly with customers, suppliers, colleagues and take initiative.
