Due to the growth of the ATS Group, we are looking for a Prevention Advisor to join our team. You will primarily be based at our offices in Gent Hamme.
Function
As a Safety Advisor, you will be part of the SHEQ department, closely monitoring legislation related to health and safety, and providing advice on these matters to managers in the various production departments. In addition, you will serve as the point of contact for matters related to safety, well-being, and environmental policy, both internally and externally, and you will work closely with various stakeholders, ranging from our own employees to managers and safety officers within the ATS Group.
Your specific duties will include:
- You will monitor, implement, and ensure compliance with various regulations, including legal reporting requirements (preparing the annual action plan and the general prevention plan, liaising with and reporting to inspection authorities, the occupational health service, the external prevention service, etc.)
- Together with your team, you coach others on how to work safely in a production environment
- You maintain all relevant and necessary records of your activities
- You will assist in preparing risk analyses
- You keep your knowledge up to date by taking courses and attending seminars
Profile
For the position of Prevention Consultant, you recognize yourself in the qualities listed below:
- You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field
- You hold a Level 2 Safety Advisor certification and have experience in safety and environmental duties
- You have experience with management systems such as VCA**, ISO 9001, and/or ISO 14001 / ISO 45001
- You are approachable, have a strong personality, and possess good coaching skills
- Your motto is to work with initiative and pragmatism as a team player
- Dutch, French, and English are no problem for you
- You have a driving licence B
