At our site in Gent, where our machine construction activities are consolidated, we are looking for a Sheet Metal Operator.

Function

As a Sheet Metal Operator, you will be the hero who brings our CNC-controlled punching, bending, and laser cutting machines to life. You will be working on unique pieces—no mass production—so every day will bring something new.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• You set up and operate punching, bending, and laser cutting machines like a pro.
• You tinker with NC programs so that the machines work even smarter.
• You check your own work and spot quality deviations.
• You intervene in unsafe situations and replace wear parts with care.
• You ensure a smooth production process and perform minor maintenance.
• You think critically about how everything can be done better, smarter, and more efficiently.
• And above all: you create unique products that you can be proud of.

Profile

• You have a technical degree (preferably in electromechanics) or equivalent experience.
• Are you a beginner or experienced? Both are welcome! We provide intensive guidance.
• You work enthusiastically, are motivated, and are accurate.
• You can work independently and show initiative.
• You are handy and have strong spatial awareness.
• You value quality and are fully committed to it.
• You are eager to learn, flexible and immune to stress.
