The Automation Business Unit team is looking for reinforcement. We offer a challenging job in a multidisciplinary technology group in full expansion. There are many opportunities for self-development and advancement.

Function

• You design and dimension electrical installations specifically for automation projects and perform associated calculations.
• Working closely with the project manager, you will provide a design that perfectly matches the automation needs of our industrial customers (mechanical engineering, motion, robotics, process automation,...)
• You will select appropriate components and materials with a focus on industrial automation and PLC controlled installations, and coordinate with the project manager and purchasing department.
• You analyze the operation of electrical hardware in detail and incorporate the required information into an EPLAN schematic.
• You deliver a complete file for all parties involved:
  • Customer: A clear and correct as-built file.
  • Site Implementation: Schedules with attention to efficient installation and minimal downtime during conversions.
  • panel building: You provide the necessary data via Eplan to control an automated machine park (Perforex, Komax, ...). The control panels are each unique and customized.
• You take into account the Machine Directive and have knowledge of EN 60204, safety applications and Performance Level in function of risk assessment and safe control engineering.
• Projects can range from completely new installations, revamps, expansions to safety modifications.

Profile

• You have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in electromechanics or electricity and have several years of experience in a similar role within automation.
• You have knowledge of EPLAN and a notion of AutoCAD and cable calculations.
• You have knowledge of automation techniques such as PLC hardware, safety components and motor controls and industrial networks.
• You have knowledge in industrial bus systems, field components, industrial instrumentation.
• You have knowledge of safety standards and applications within mechanical engineering and industrial automation.
• You have an eye for detail and strive to deliver a detailed and accurate file every time.
• You are customer-oriented, analytical and flexible.
• You can work independently while working well together in a project team.
• You speak fluent Dutch and have a good knowledge of French and English.
• You are in possession of a driver's license B.
