Newelec is a Belgian company specializing in electrical engineering, founded in Liège in 1985. It is active in the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex electrical engineering projects and has built up extensive expertise over the years in industrial electrical engineering (high and low voltage), automation and supervision, the production of electrical panels, engineering through its own design offices, HVAC controls, and solutions for electric mobility.

Today, Newelec has around 250 employees and achieved a turnover of €50 million in 2024. The company has offices in Liège, Strépy-Bracquegnies, and Brussels, giving it a strong presence in the French-speaking part of Belgium.

Since 2017, Newelec has been part of the Luminus Group, further strengthening its commitment to efficient, innovative, and sustainable energy solutions in the context of the energy transition. At the same time, its integration within the ATS Group consolidates a strategic growth dynamic. Thanks to Newelec, the ATS Group has built up a strong position in the south of the country in the fields of electrical engineering, automation, and HVAC.
